Mobile post from the thirsty buffalo. Thought I would grace you with a little review as it happens.

Firstly, we sit 'outside' where we are blessed with the occasional whiff of sewage.

The waitress brings me a coffee cup that has coffee stains on the side. suspicious.

We sit next to either three hipsters or two gay men and their fruit fly.

There is something green floating in my water.

Quesadillas are great. (E:laurens) chicken bacon ranch wrap is 'pretty good'.

cheating with thai food

i'm taking baby steps here...

we have been getting the 'thai kitchen' stuff from wegmans.

Thai kitchen

and decided it was time to try and make it myself.

but not really since I just bought the premade peanut sauce and some rice noodles. kind of lame cop out but whatever...

but looking at peanut sauce recipes - it doesn't look too difficult... so I guess i'll try that at some point...

but really i have a strong desire to make my own spinach pasta... it actually looks kind of easy... we will see...

instant addiction

I just got this delicious cold pasta salad from the coop. its cold noodles with maybe... parmesan cheese? and cranberries. And it was kinda garlicy. And i need to know how to make it because i absolutely cannot afford to be going there all the time just to buy this stuff. And i WILL!

so ahh... anybody know what this stuff is called and how to make it?

its practically crawling with nutrients

i've been having these superfoods shakes for breakfast for the past three or four days. a shake for breakfast? why yes! and the suprising thing is that i am not really hungry for several hours afterward! this is suprising to me because... well i love food. I need food on a fairly regular basis. And if i don't get it... well.. i'm cranky...

So this shake powder is... well.. green.. full of all those vitamins and kale and seaweed stuff that is supposed to be good for you but you never really get because... its disgusting...(?)

(e:lauren) thinks that the shake is absolutely disgusting, and I would have heartily agreed on day one when i wanted to vomit. But with a bit of tampering and time for my tastebuds to learn to look the other way.... i think its going to be just fine...

so this, mixed with a delightfully healthy diet of as much greens as possible and as little sugar as possible - just might have me fitting into those old clothes that i love.

we will see... i have horrible willpower you know...

the magic of creamed everything.

i started to type this as a comment to my own post, but i think that the review of the magic bullet has to have its own post.

first of all - to address the 'magic bullet' and how it sounds like a sex toy - i just told my friend on the phoen that my parents bought us a magic bullet and she started freaking out on the phone about how disgusting and disturbing that was.

moving along...

i am presently drinking a homemade irish cream icie slushie thingie and wow~! i love me some magic bullet! okay yeah my aunt actually made the irish cream and gave me a jug of it - but the magic bullet combined it with ice into a frozen dream! and now i totally can make said irish cream all by my self!

this morning i made lauren and myself smoothies. i have been dreaming of all sorts of items that i can make with this sucker. i think that somewhere down the line its going to disgusting.... like the moment where i thought outloud 'BEER SLUSHIE!!"

i fully intend on bringing this baby to my new years eve party in Lake George to see what amazingness i can come up with. score.

turkey turkey gobble gobble

Happy Turkey day you ALL!!!!!

(E:lauren) went home for the holidays and i find myself alone for the first time in quite some time! which apparently means eating large amounts of pizza.

now i have to get my butt in gear and clean up this joint and head out to my gram's. It will be insane. lots and lots of people. my mom is one of ten.......

so now i'm just procrastinating.

if i can figure out how to post with my phone - i will. I don't see how i could actually post a mobile photo without going to a pc first. i mean i don't have an iphone like (e:jim) or anything.

anywhoodle. i'm going to play some tunes and get moving. happy turkey gobble guys!

random pre coffee thoughts

Haven't been posting lately. No its not you, its me.. you see i've been so busy... i just... well... i haven't had time for you... please don't take it personally... i love you really... i promise i will call...

its 630 am. stupid work meeting.

Yesterday I agreed to work an OT day in Springville. Then I realized it was a homegame. Luckily I only hit a little traffic... I hightailed my ass as fast as I could home though...

Then I made chicken pot pie. Damn tasty!

Then I made banana bread. Damn Tasty!

Now I need to go out and find some sponsors for the next breakdance battle. We have worked out a deal wherein i can work off my class tuition by helping to get sponsors for the battles. Which is pretty damn nifty as I was worried that I wouldn't be able to afford these classes. (I can't afford them - at least till January)

So I'm trying to figure out what places I should go to that would be interested in donating money towards a breakdancing battle -
It seems as though the main themes are: energy drinks, hip clothing stores, anything associated with dance music and anybody who would have any type of interest in providing a wholesome place for the youth to come and play.

So do you all have suggestions? I unfortunately don't know the area still - so I'm at a loss for it all.

We are bringing a bunch of jello shots tonight to the party - and we were thinking of having a little donation jar next to them. A quarter a shot? a dollar? whatever you want to donate fore each shot - and the money goes right to (E:strip). It would all be suggested donations.

Usually I get all fancy with my jello shots - but I've been a bit overworked and underpaid lately and I'm low on funds/time.... You will find a berry shot with little berries floating in them though... thats about as good as i'm getting this time around...

oh and don't forget - tonight is the breakdancing battle! starts at 8 as well... going to be great...
